The Ez4file's Configuration Wizard provides two type of url addresses to access the installed Ez4file:

1. Accessing installed Ez4file using the address such as http://site_name or http://site_ip. It means that

   • If you have a registered domain name "your_domain.com", the url will be "http://www.your_domain.com";

   • If your computer's IP address is "127.0.0.1", the url will be "http://127.0.0.1";

   • If you access installed Ez4file from a local computer, the url may be "http://localhost";

   The advantage is convinient for user, they only need to know your domain name or IP address to access the installed Ez4file. With such url address, all your other web applications will be unconvenient for users.

   If your computer is dedicated for the installed Ez4file, then such url address is the best choice. Ohterwise it is not recommended.

2. Accessing installed Ez4file using the address such as http://site_name/ef or http://site_ip/ef. It means that

   • If you have a registered domain name "your_domain.com", the url will be "http://www.your_domain.com/ef";

   • If your computer's IP address is "127.0.0.1", the url will be "http://127.0.0.1/ef";

   • If you access installed Ez4file from a local computer, the url may be "http://localhost/ef";

   The advantage is that you can use a computer not only for Ez4file but also for other web applications.

   If you want to run several web applications on one computer, this is the recommanded configuration.

NOTE: switching between these two type of url addresses can be done through Ez4file's Configuration Wizard:

• Clicking on Start -> Programs -> Ez4file -> Configuration to launch the configuration wizard,

• Selecting Modify on the second screen of configuration wizard,

• Selecting the address type you want and let wizard do the rest.
