Here are detailed instructions on compiling EasyHTTP in Visual Basic 6 (we assume that you use Windows NT 4 which is installed on "D" drive):
- Selecting Project Type
When you start VB, New Project Dialog appears. Select "Standard EXE" under tab "New".
- Adding MS WinSock Control
Select "Components..." in the "Project" Pulldown menu, Components dialog appears.
- Select Add Form in the Project pulldown menu to add "easyhttp.frm" into the project.
- Setting up Project Properties:
Select "Project Properties..." from "Project" pulldown menu, Project Properties dialog box appears. All required settings are shown in following two pictures:
- Compile it to EasyHTTP.exe.
